This might be called the House of Love, not just a cat cafe. So much love here for both cats and humans, you can feel the love permeating the air. The cats are very happy and well cared for. They're super friendly and enjoy my play and company, too. My heart was overjoyed and my soul was deeply soothed and healed to be here. I am so grateful to the owners of this place for having rescued so many cats and provided such a sanctuary for them. They deserve it! We're blessed to have them in our life! Thank you for such a wonderful, love-filled place! Even the dessert was delicious. I will be back next year! I miss Shima-chan already!

There are a sign on code of discipline (e.g. don't pick up cats, don't feed human food to cats etc.) But other than that all in Japanese which is one of the reason why foreign visitors may missed out on the important details. Cats here are rescue cats. For the last decades many cats have been adopted! We ordered ice cream custards and herbal tea - of course, you don't really need these if you want to play with cats. 550 yen for 30 minutes and 1k yen for one hour. Lovely cats, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere (15 minutes walk from Big Buddha)

This place is genuinely amazing ! Technicaly, you have to call in advance, but if there's enough room, you can come in anyway. The owner is so kind, and her project is amazing, she does a lot for the cats and offers them much much love. The cats are very playful, they have a lot of energy and are very cute! There's a Free gaza sticker and a zine which is also super cool. My friends and I had the best time ever, we cannot stop think about it !!

Hidden gem in Kamakura. It's a 22min walk from the Buddha hence was not sure whether we should go. But glad we did. One of the best Matcha and Chifon cake I had in Japan. Entrance fee was reasonable, and you don't need to purchase extras (unlike the rip off ones in Tokyo). The cake was out of this world, and I didn't expect this given it's a cat cafe, usually food was shoddy.
